Sometimes all we need is a reminder that this is the hard part…….

Jake and I were chatting last night, about how much easier it is this week than last… 7.75 more weeks gang!  It will get better.

Hang in there don’t give up.   If you slip, just get back in the game… Just like the work outs, try not to stop your momentum.

    Just a quick note about journals and points. If you turned in your journal at the gym, you’ll find them back there with a few notes, otherwise, you should have gotten an e-mail, if you didn’t let me know (p_elia@hotmail.com). Two things that seemed to be a common theme was giving points for fish oil, where that is a deduction if you don’t take it, and the 1/2 carb blocks from veggies. If half of your total blocks from the day are from veggies, you get one point for the day, not per meal. If you are going for zone or paleo/zone make sure your are spending these first two weeks weighing and measuring! Once you get a feel, then you can start eye balling it, but be disciplined about it for now. It makes a difference.

    Came dangerously close to getting a deduction for no fish oil. Just slammed down three capsules after opening the blog and seeing Pablo’s post above. Missing my eight hours of sleep again tonight. Gotta work on getting to bed by 9?! 12 points for the day and really starting to look forward to an enormous cheat meal very soon. Got the running and muscle ups wod in today, but felt pretty tired after yesterdays clean and jerks, heavy presses, and a hard hill run…

    Paleo Spaghetti tonight, it was great plus the chickens get the sguash shell. Hard to get 8 hr sleep have to sweep town at 5 am Fri. It will be a 5:30pm WOD. 4th for the week. I had two 15 point days in a row. But now here comes the weekend! No worries right? Gotta Love IT!
